well you certainly weren't the only one to mishear the dog star line! - you can hear the audience reaction in most versions of it.

To answer your question about old MSG shaking in 1982, I was not on the floor on 09/20, but I was on 09/21 and I can promise you that between Phil and several thousands of dancing heads, the floor positively pumped that night. The Playin'>Crazy Fingers opening is off the charts: four minutes into the show and they are in space.
